Basketball

Boys & Girls, Grades K-2 (Beginner)
The FBA program is conducted on Saturdays only, for 6-7 weeks starting on January 6th. An excellent program for players just starting to learn the game, FBA provides a fun, active, clinic style introduction to Basketball fundamentals, including dribbling, passing, shooting and defense. Short games are also played. In addition to some excellent Basketball training, each player also will receive a team shirt.

The cost is $25 per player.

Boys Basketball, Grades 3-6:

The Boy’s 3rd Grade through 6th Grade will compete in a mix of the Binghamton Bulldogs league,  Pinnacle league, and  CYO league. Boys will play 10-16 games depending on the team/grade level/league. Specific info on leagues/schedules will be forthcoming. Practices will begin late October/early November, with games running from late November thru mid-February. Practices will be held in CF gymnasiums, specific dates and times are still TBD and dependent on CF gym availability.  All teams will compete with other school, town, or CYO-affiliated teams. No AAU or Travel teams allowed. All CFCA team members must be from the CF school district (home school or private school attendees are allowed, but the home address must be in the CF district). Girls Basketball, Grades 3-6

The Girls in 3rd Grade through 6th Grade will compete in the Emil Seliga Memorial Basketball League. All teams in this league are school, town, or CYO-affiliated teams. No AAU or Travel teams. All CFCA team members must be from the CF school district (home school or private school attendees are allowed, but the home address must be in the CF district). The season will commence in mid-November and will run until early February. All practices will be held in a Chenango Forks Gymnasium. Typically, there are 2 practices per week and the actual times may be subject to change. The cost is $65 per player.

There will be a hard cutoff for sign-ups. No Sign-ups will be accepted after Midnight Friday, October 27th, for both Boys and Girls programs. FBA sign-ups will be accepted through December.
