CF Youth Football offers Flag and Tackle football for children ages 5 to 12 years old (players age determined by their age on November 1, 2018). CF sponsors teams in each of the following four age brackets/programs:
Flag Football (5-7 year olds) Players wear flags hanging off belts around their waists, and ball carriers are ‘tackled’ by their opponent pulling off a flag. Players learn the basic skills of offense and defense, and learn simple plays and techniques. 7 year olds may play either Flag or Tackle football, usually determined by their size and experience.
Players wear full football equipment, and participate in ‘full contact’ football. Players are divided by age into 3 age divisions: 8 and under, 10 and under, and 12 and under. Teams playing in the tackle divisions play by the same set of rules as school ‘modified’ programs play by, with a few additional rules included for safety, and to speed up games. All tackle levels have weight limits for ball carriers, and the younger levels have weight limits for all players.
Games are played every Sunday from August to October and CF teams play against teams from other local school districts. Equipment and uniforms are provided. Players must provide their own cleats (if desired) and other personal protection. See below for fee details. Questions? Contact Commissioner Jaime Allen, 607-727-6720.

CF Youth Cheerleading offers girls ages 5 to 12 the opportunity to learn the basics of Cheerleading from experienced former and current Cheerleaders. Girls are divided into squads which attend CF Youth Football games and cheer for the CF team. Games are played both home and away. This years program will be sideline cheering only, no competitions are planned. The program is contingent on enough volunteers to support the program coming forward. All equipment and uniforms are provided. See our website for sign-up fee details. Questions? Contact Caitlyn Baldwin at 607-743-4778 or Christine Webb at 607-242-3517, email@example.com.

Due to recent concerns regarding this policy, the CFCA will now require proof of qualification for the free/reduced lunch program. The letter received from the school will be adequate, and the form only needs to be shown at the time of sign-up. If you qualify, but have lost your letter, you can get a replacement by contacting the school food service department.Sign-up by mail
